Global Warming!
Global Warming is an issue when it comes to the dmsel fish's survival. Global Warming can cause problems such as changes in water temperature. Damsel fish like waters between 20-30 degrees celcius which means that if the water temperature changes, the damsel fish won't be able to survive in such a change in climate because they won't be used to it. Global Warming also changes the water acidity which is another problem for the fish to deal with if Global Warming gets really bad in the Great Barrier Reef. Damsel fish must not be affected by Global Warming as they play a big part in the GBR ecosystem. The Damsel fish are also known as farming fish because they weed the coral of algae. Without the damsel fish, the algae would not be farmed or in other words it would grow enormously and it could not be contained so it is up to the damsel fish to keep the algae situation under control for the sake of the coral in the GBR.
