What eats the Damsel fish?
Even though the damsel fish sounds but does not look like a vicious little fish that has no fear of any other fish, they still have predators who eat them. The damselfish has predators such as the Grouper which is a lrage fish with a large mouth that can swallow a damsel fish whole. another predator of the damsel fish are Jacks which are also a fair size with a torpedo bodyshape but nowhere near the same size mouth as the grouper. Other predatory fish such as the stone fish and lion fish also eat the damsel fish by using their size because they can be ten times the size of certain damsel fish which makes it easy to eat them. Damsel fish are able to chase away fish ten times their size by using their aggression but it isn't enough to scare away predatoral fish.
