Pomacentridae
The Damsel fish family or Pomacentridae has a vast species of Damsel fish and Anemone Fish. Pomacentridae only has the Damsel fish and the Anemone Fish but that is all they need considering the fact that there have over 300 species of damsel fish worldwide all living in warm waters in oceans and some fresh waters in lakes for some certain species. They are known for their bright colours and for being very territorial towards other fish who intrude on their territory which is usually a small area of coral that they protect and eat the algae off. Certain Characteristics in the pomacentridae family are things such as compressed elogate bodyshape, single nostril on each side of their body. They range from bright colours such as yellow, blue, orange and red to very drab colours such as black, grey and brown. Normally the baby damsel fish have the brighter clour then when tme an adult their colour start to fade.
